Behind the Scenes
We thought it would be interesting to develop a photo essay that describes the process of assembling an exhibit, from generating the central theme and scope, to the physical challenges of installation, to creating the story that will make the content accessible to a diverse yet often quite discerning audience. Visit this page in the fall as we document taking down De Boerderij, our current exhibit of sculpture, painting, photography and prints by local artists, and reinstalling Just After the Battle, our very popular exhibit of the American Civil War. Just After the Battle will open in October 2007 and continue through Spring 2008.
